In the year 2005 aided grading was proffered to the school by the Government of Kerala. The school imparts general education and vocational training to deaf children and channels them towards becoming self-sufficient, self-contained individuals. The school is committed to the conviction that children, who are hearing impaired can study to listen, converse and wholly involve in a “hearing” world.

The school is located in an idyllic countryside locale at Manickamangalam -Kalady. Though centrally located -3kms from Cochin International Airport and 5kms from Ankamaly Railway Station the school is placed in a perfect locate far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life thus providing an ambiance conducive for learning. Admission to the school at an early age of 3 years is offered as it is favourable to provide speech therapy more effectively at this juncture. ACHIEVEMENTS The school  bagged the 1 st and 2 nd ranks in the S.S.L.C examinations during the period 2002- 2004 The School has retained 100% success in Class 10 and 12 board exams for the last 10 years. School is one of the best in the state in curricular, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities. The school students have been fruitfully participating in various inter-school competitions. Some of our achievements in the last academic year are: School bagged trophies in state and national level volley ball competition, runner up in inter school work experience fair, Hatric Inter school band display etc. FACILITIES  St. Clare has many contemporary facilities to provide the children with improved educational opportunities. Some of these are: Spacious well furnished school building and residential area, hearing aid equipped classrooms and computer aided teaching, curricular and extra curricular activities such as volley ball, table tennis, skating, foot ball, band display etc. Vocational Courses:- Photoshop, DTP, MS Office, Tailoring and Embroidery.
